About

A clearer view of culture and everyday life

Legitpost is an independent editorial publication focused on Nigerian entertainment, football, culture and community information. We publish practical explainers, viewing guides and thoughtful features that help readers look beyond a headline.

Our interest is in the people, work and decisions behind public life: how a film reaches its audience, how to check a football announcement, and what makes community information useful. We value readable writing, proportionate language and links that let readers inspect important source material.

What you will find here

Entertainment covers screen culture and the way stories are discussed. Sport explains how to follow official developments without confusing a rumour with a confirmed announcement. Culture & Industry looks at creative work and the vocabulary used to describe it. Community & Media offers practical guidance on sharing information responsibly.

Independence and accountability

Legitpost is not an official channel for a public body, sports organisation, broadcaster or artist. A link to an organisation provides a source, not an endorsement. We distinguish general guidance from dated reporting and correct material errors when they are identified. Questions, corrections and editorial suggestions can be submitted through our contact page.
